Patti Watson, Taste's founder, principal, and senior designer is a graduate of the interior design program at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and is an allied member of ASID the American Society of Interior Design. Patti also holds a bachelors degree in Management from Johnson & Wales University.

Prior to establishing Taste, Patti maintained a successful creative marketing career as Director of Marketing at Firebrand LLC and as Corporate Communications Manager at GTECH Corporation.

Her extensive career in creative marketing and business development provided exposure to diverse business models and invaluable project management/people skills - as well as opportunities for global travel, through which she realized her true passion and appreciation for international culture, art, and architecture. Inspired by an eclectic mix of styles and international influences, Patti left her corporate career behind to devote her professional life to design.

Upon completing the Interior Design program at RISD, Patti began her professional design career with The Procaccianti Group, a hotel development company where she worked on a diverse range of projects from high-rise to boutique hotels. In 2004, armed with an extensive portfolio, Patti founded Taste Design, Inc.

Since founding Taste, Patti has quickly established a reputation for creative and thoughtful work. She is renowned in the industry for problem solving and her educated construction and design sensibilities. Patti has and continues to receive numerous accolades on her talent and ability to successfully collaborate with high-end industry peers on a wide range of client projects.

Patti lives with her husband and daughter in Jamestown, Rhode Island.
