I came into interior design by way of fashion design. With my Bachelors of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I developed three key aspects of my design perspective: luxury materials, tailored design, and self expression. In the same way that what we wear is a reflection of who we are, I believe that our home is an extension of that same philosophy.
As a member of team taste, I enjoy seeking out beautiful materials and combining textiles to create schemes for our clients. There is such a rich cultural history in all textile processes that by layering fabrics with interesting weaves or block print techniques, you can add interesting depth to any interior space. In keeping with the design philosophy of taste, I too, believe the most important aspect of any design is striking balance between the personality of clients while keeping the integrity and the soul of the home alive.
After living and working in NYC post grad, my husband and I relocated to Rhode Island and have been enjoying the sense of calm in the coastal community. We find ourselves walking along Narragansett beach admiring the glow of the sun against the water, always alongside our trusty companion, Marshall.
