in good company: a shout-out to Shoreline Stone

Time for another shout-out to a trade partner who has consistently helped us make magic happen the past several months.  Shoreline Stone, based in Stonington, CT is one of our go-to resources for stone countertops and custom stone creations.  Their team is an endless source of energy, patience and the occasional problem solving on our projects.

As designers, we appreciate their willingness to hear ideas and roll up their sleeves to help engineer a design detail we, and the architects we work with, dream up.  (Case in point: Jeff Beckwith on the Shoreline team is helping us to embed a heating membrane in a marble shower seat open to the floor and supported by brackets, to eliminate that shock of cold that can happen when you perch on the shower seat.)

Sincere thanks to the entire team there, especially Tony, Lucilia, Jeff and Joe for your talent and collaboration.  A sampling of a few of the recent installations, including one that happened this week, follows.

Only the best,

This week, Shoreline Stone carefully installed these soapstone countertops in a spacious kitchen.  Patience and teamwork is key.  Big thanks to Antonio, Kyle, Josh and Scott from Shoreline.
