We’re in the finishing stages the renovation of our new space at 17 Narragansett Ave. in Jamestown and couldn’t be more thrilled with our new/old building. Creamy white walls are in, trim is being installed and the rift and quartered white oak floor goes in next week. We even have our favorite mosaic marble floor in our Powder Room, to be complemented with grasscloth on the walls and a sparkly chandelier on the ceiling.

Upstairs, an airy studio is finished and ready for our interior and architectural designers to settle in to create, solve and as our own Kevin Baker says, ‘make dreams come true everyday’. Big, big thanks goes out to Keith Ronchie and his crew, Jack’s Electric, Chuck Cabral, John Medeiros, Nancy Terry, Pat Hunt, Mark and Debbie Swistak and Carol Andersen for the hustle and tenacity to honor and tame our beloved 130 year old building.

Our new/old building also provides the opportunity to present the gallery at taste featuring custom furnishings and accessories by taste and works of art by local artists. We’ll open our doors on Thursday, August 13th and host open studio events throughout August. Look for upcoming posts on featured artists whose work will grace our walls and complete our interior compositions.
