team taste

We found our new home.

taste is on the move…

For the past 17 years, Jamestown has been an ideal place to begin and grow my business. As our projects and employee base has expanded, we’ve outgrown our current space on Narragansett Avenue.  By the end of August, we will be moving to 170 Aquidneck Avenue in Middletown. Our new-to-us building will provide more space for staff, presentations and materials.  (If you’ve been to our studio storefront recently, you’ll know we’re overflowing with all things and people design). From our new location, we will be better able to serve our clients in Jamestown, on Aquidneck Island, in South County and prepare for growth beyond.

In classic taste style, we are renovating our new space to fit our needs (just as we do for our clients), and we’ll be sharing this journey through our blog and social media.  We’re honored to have J2 Construct leading the renovation, working with Chris Arner, AIA and Dan Gordon Landscape Architects.

One of the most exciting additions to our new space will be the ‘House of Taste’, which will highlight our high-caliber partners, enabling us to provide a unique experience to our clients that will mimic the quality and craftsmanship of their new or renovated home. Everything from flooring, cabinetry and millwork, stone, technology, appliances, furniture, wall coverings, linens, and art curation will be available for taste clients to consider.

It is with great pleasure to announce the following partners already teaming with us in the House of Taste (*local vendors):

Nantucket Custom Flooring, Visual Comfort, WOW Media*, Lutron, Gil’s Appliances*, Sub-Zero, Rosemary Hallgarten, Scott James Furniture*, Hickory Chair, Riverhead Building Supply*, Marvin Windows, Tracy Glover Studio*, Palmer Industries* Jutras Woodworking*, Zuerner Design*…and more.

As we continue to grow, the core values of taste remain the same. Our goal with each of our clients is to keep their large, complex home design and build projects simple and stress free. We can’t wait to welcome you our new location — perfectly appointed and designed to help you enjoy the process of creating your own home.

Join us on this exciting journey by following us on Instagram: @taste.interiorsanddesign and by staying tune to upcoming blog posts.

With abundant gratitude,

Patti & team taste
