Thoughtfully Transformed

Reimagining a cherished summer home brings the happy assignment to provide fresh elements to already beloved spaces, imbued with family memories. This Meadowmere cottage is just that - and the perfect chance to create warm and efficient spaces for a busy family of seven.

The vintage cottage had a series of small rooms that we thoughtfully transitioned into open-concept spaces ready to support family life. A first-floor guest room with the best view in the house was reallocated to the kitchen space plan, providing a vista to the water and easy access to the pool.

Infused with Luxury

Throughout the house, rooms are brimming with personalized touches and tradition. The interior finishes and design are a supportive backdrop to the client's collection of antique furnishings and art, including their seven-foot diameter antique dining table. And while its a home all about family, we complimented shared spaces with well-deserved doses of luxury for Mom and Dad. With the addition of a primary bathroom on the second floor, the family sharing of one bathroom for seven, ends.

We are grateful for the support of WKP Construction in developing this home and helping us make our client's vision come true. It was with the careful collaboration of our team that we were able to design a home rich with patina yet filled with modern conveniences for the bustle of family life.
