With a background in fine arts, my career started as a professional artist and teacher. After receiving my MFA from Columbia College Chicago, I furthered my education by attending the prestigious artist residency at the Skowhegan School for Sculpture and Painting. Along the way I built on my skills and experiences that shaped the designer I am today by giving me a fresh perspective on interiors.

From working at an architecture firm, I was involved in the beginning-to-end process of home building, and gained the experience of seeing projects progress from design development through to completion. As a member of Team Taste, I bring my knowledge of the design/build process to ensure projects are on-time and on-budget throughout production. Client satisfaction is of utmost importance, and I value high-quality, well-crafted materials, fixtures, and furnishings.

Outside of the creative space, you can find me enjoying a warm cup of coffee in the morning before my family wakes up, enjoying the quiet while scrolling through Instagram. Although my husband and I are often busy with our kids, we enjoy surfing at the beach and (slowly, but surely) restoring our 1920s colonial.
