Grace D’Ovidio

Design Coordinator

Some of my earliest memories revolve around creating spaces.

At nine years old, I transformed an ordinary doll house into my own dream home with marble countertops made from magazine photos glued to cardboard, popsicle stick hardwood floors, and scrapbook paper wallpaper. Looking back, I didn't realize I was designing. I just knew I loved imagining how a space could come together, one detail at a time.

Growing up in Rhode Island only fueled that curiosity. The state's blend of historic homes and thoughtfully designed new construction exposed me to a wide range of architecture, each with its own personality. Those early experiences gave me an appreciation for the individuality of every home, a perspective I carry with me today.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Design Studies from Syracuse University with a focus in Interior Design and a minor in Real Estate. Studying both design and real estate strengthened my appreciation for the creative process while giving me an understanding of the planning that brings every project to life.

After interning at Taste Design for two summers, I am delighted to have joined the team full time as a Design Coordinator. I enjoy helping organize the many details that transform a vision into a finished home. Whether coordinating specifications or working with vendors, I find satisfaction in knowing that every detail contributes to the final result.

When I'm not at Taste, you'll usually find me exploring Rhode Island's food scene, spending time with my dogs, Birdie and Willie, and my cat, Margo, or planning my next travel adventure.
