It was a natural choice when deciding my profession, even at a young age. I knew I wanted to be in the architecture and design field, so it only made sense for me to earn my Masters of Architecture degree from Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduation, I chose to add practical experience to my studies and worked in residential construction for over eight years. I use that field experience every day to help ensure our designs meet our clients’ needs, and are thoughtful and buildable for the craftsman and builders we collaborate with.
It is very important to me to use any and all technology to help our clients, vendors, and collaborators fully understand the design details. It's meaningful to be able to see, touch and interact with plans, models and full-scale mock-ups of specific details. Most importantly, this interaction always keeps me learning and improving our drawings and deliverables. With over a decade of experience at Taste, I still strive to make each project better than its predecessors.
As a Jamestown local, it only made sense for me to return to the island and be a part of the community I grew up in. My wife and I enjoy taking our dogs for walks, spending time with family, and checking out the local restaurant scene.
